Thankful for Our Brides

As we head into Thanksgiving week, what better time to say how grateful I am for our brides?! Each and every one is uniquely beautiful, and every wedding that we get to be a part of just makes my heart happy. On a gorgeous fall day at the rustic HayLoft in the Grove, Jen and Sam tied the knot amidst lush gardens, towering trees, and lots of love. I hope you enjoy experiencing this joyful day with these two cuties through the stunning photos by Iburi Photography, and on behalf of all of us here at CP, we wish you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving. Jen wore the whimsical and floral infused Ophelia gown. From my Timeless collection, this beauty exudes so much vibrancy and joy (matching this sweet bride) and floats and drapes in a dreamy, effortless way. Made of finely embroidered tulle scattered with beaded organza pastel flowers, and layered over gold French lace, this gown is the definition of garden romance. Jen found her dream dress with one of our stockists, Gee June. They sent us her measurements, we made a muslin pattern, she tried it on, and just a few adjustments later (and countless hours of detailed work of course!), her beautiful gown was ready! As you can see, her groom agrees that it was the perfect choice for our beautiful bride.
I love that Jen chose what you might assume to be a gown for a spring or summer wedding for her fall day. It just goes to show...you can wear whatever color you want on your wedding day, and even though she's not wearing white, there is no doubt about who our lovely bride is. The styling, the florals, all of the other elements will help tell your story. One way to express the autumn season is to do what Jen did, and dress your bridesmaids in neutral, tan tones. This color is the perfect contrast against the vibrant (gorgeous!) florals by Catherine Rose Floral Design and the pastel tones in Jen's gown.
This day was filled with endless special details. From the cozy barn, wild flowers, sweet treats, and even the pup's wedding gear, Jen and Sam's wedding truly overflowed with fun and personality. I love how they embraced the natural beauty of the grounds and leaned into this gorgeous floral theme...ending with this epic petal shower! There's nothing like having the best party of your life with your friends and family, and then strolling with your beloved to watch the sun set... a true metaphor for life! At the end of each day, it's the two of you left to cherish what may seem like ordinary moments, but there is no such thing as an ordinary moment, as life itself is, well...extraordinary! And what better way to experience this remarkable life than with the one you love? Congratulations Jen and Sam, we're so happy for you two!
