Sparkling Gowns for the Holiday Season

It's that time of year...twinkling lights are on display, there's a chill in the air, and hot cocoa is a must! This season, I can't help but wish for a little extra sparkle. I don't always incorporate shimmer into my designs, but when I do, it has to be subtle and not too glitzy, with a dose of refinement and (my favorite) a dash of fairy dust. You have to look close to appreciate the enchanted details of the fairy dusted Chrysalis. This gossamer gown is for the romantic, the poet, the dreamer, and the woodland nymph. Keep in mind, sparkles are very difficult to capture in photography, so when you choose a beaded, sequined, or shimmering dress, it's really more for the effect of the in-person experience as you move and as the light dances with you. Your guests will have a hard time taking their eyes off of you! And even if sparkles aren't your thing, I always recommend that my brides incorporate a little shimmer in some way, even if it's just in a simple accessory. A little sparkle in your hair, or a touch of beading on your veil can be just enough.
