Santorini in the Sunshine
Wearing the gorgeous Santorini gown, Lyndsay and Justin were married in the April sunshine, surrounded by friends, family, and the breathtaking views of Ojai, California. Postponing their wedding one year due to the pandemic didn't stop this duo from moving forward with their dream wedding. And from these photos, I think you'll agree it was so worth the wait! Lyndsay chose the elegant Santorini gown in ivory for her special day. This gown, adorned with hand beaded organza and pearl flowers, French trim, and a custom back detail, was perfect for a bohemian-chic wedding. Lyndsay also chose our delicate Baby's Breath Veil to pair with her dream dress. With a touch of silver, the veil tied in perfectly with the hints of sparkle on the dress. A match made in heaven!
Speaking of a match made in heaven, these two couldn't hide their clear excitement and love for each other during their first look. Taking a moment before the ceremony to be with your love helps to ease all the butterflies you may have leading up to the ceremony. It's a sweet reminder before the big celebration, that this day is about the two of you. That's it! Yes, you want your friends and family to have a good time, and it's truly special having them there, but at the end of the day, this ceremony is celebrating your one-of-a-kind love. How beautiful is that?
Speaking of friends and family, how gorgeous are these photos of our bride and her maids both girls and women; they all look so pretty! The florals for this wedding, by Liz Cohn from Forage Ojai were truly beyond and so perfect for the setting. I just love the pops of terracotta, emerald, and blush tones that pair so nicely with the bridal party hues and the gorgeous surroundings.
This moment! The one you've been waiting for for SO long. I truly mean this when I say, walk slow, take in every second of approaching your partner. Feel the love from your friends and family smiling on...and hold that kiss before you walk away! Lyndsay and Justin truly looked so present during their ceremony, soaking it all in, and Brandi Crockett Photo captured it all perfectly! With a gorgeous quick hair change by Sheila Raye Stone, Lyndsay and Justin were ready for their reception! I just love how much the the hair twist shows off our bride's beauty and the custom back details we created with droplets of stars and magic (plus a little Guipure lace!). I also love that Lyndsay let her train trail behind her as much as possible. Yes, it will get dirty, but that's okay! It's worth it for those photos, I promise! And see below for her pretty bustle! We customize our bustles depending on the dress and the bride, but always make sure your dress looks as pretty pinned up as it does trailing behind. Lyndsay and Justin's wedding was clearly filled with so much love, laughter, and beauty. What more could you ask for? Congratulations, you two!
