Long Sleeve Lace for an Autumn Wedding

This time of year always reminds me to slow down, take a breath, and honor the new pace that is FALL. A time where change comes not only to the trees, the food we eat, and the wind that graces our cheeks, but among our hearts too. This gorgeous shoot planned by Britt Jones Co. and shot by Lovely Light Imagery is like a brisk walk under the falling leaves with hot tea in hand; beautiful, replenishing, and warming to the soul. The tones and details incorporated here are as sweet as those charming honey jars! With the warm autumnal hues, elegant stationary by Kate Wiseman Creative, and the dreamy (and popular!) wedding venue of Kestrel Park, this shoot truly transports me to another time...when wearing a decadent gown like our Pearle was just another day in the garden (I wish!).
The florals by Solstice Bloom are just divine, especially with the Pearle gown! Pops of ivory and rust, a touch of green and caramel... I just adore the way it compliments the gown (and suit!). Pearle is made of the most delicate French embroidered tulle and rose gold threads. Hand beaded seed pearls and silk charmeuse adorn this dress and it is truly an elegant dream.. and that bow?! Ending the day with a sunset...this gorgeous couple knows what's good for them! When was the last time you took a long walk to watch the sun go down? Or watch the sun rise?! No phone for the Instagram shot, just you and your loved ones? Slowing down to appreciate the world around us is a challenge in our digital world, but I'm hopeful that as a collective, we can continue to encourage each other to stop, listen, and just be. And I think this cozy season offers the perfect opportunity for that, don't you?
