I don't know about you, but we started listening to Christmas carols and decorating the house the day after Thanksgiving! This year, we just felt like we really needed some extra holiday cheer, and this shoot dreamed up by Pennsylvania Weddings and photographed by Samantha Jay truly brought a smile to my face with all of it's classic red, green and winter-white sparkle. Our shimmering Stardust gown is intermixed here with gorgeous tones of red and green- the ultimate Christmas duo! The pinecones, candlesticks and beautiful florals truly take me to a cozy Christmas dinner spent with family. The Stardust gown adds her own magic to the scene with silver floral French embroidery and Swarovski crystal back. The perfect snow queen for a chilly December day! I'm also loving the gorgeous up do by Marissa Grace which almost mimics the curves and dips of the embroidered flowers. Christmas time is the best time to go all out with decor and dessert! The cake by Love Bites by Erika is almost too pretty to eat and the tablescape is a Christmas dream! I love when fruit and foliage mix to create a tableu of festive goodness; it's a beautiful thing how bringing a few elements of nature inside, can make such a gorgeous piece of art in our homes.
And the flowers by Bloom Flower Co.... I can't not mention the flowers! Deep crimson paired with bright berries, pine needles, and ivory roses are the perfect holiday blend for any winter bride or winter celebration! Vibrant colors against a glittering gown create a stunning balance, and the red lip and sparkling hairpiece ties it all together. The Holiday season is a time to relish in all the magical moments we can muster, and to hold the ones we love extra close. This seems more true than ever, especially with so many experiencing loss and heartbreak this year. But even if we aren't dressed up in our Christmas best, and even if we're far from those we love, I'm hoping that you will find a way to make the holidays special. Wishing you all the most magical Christmas, and a New Year filled with hope and love and the celebrations with family and friends that we all miss so dearly.
