For brides looking for that statement floral goddess dream dress - hello Peony! And hello to these stunning cape sleeves! My signature embroidery in shades of dusty rose and sage green, this floral strewn sweetheart neckline silhouette has you draped in blooms and blush silk. This time with a sheer bodice, it can be lined if you prefer, but I have to say, I love the sheer play of branches and leaves against skin in a subtle, and very feminine ode to nature's beauty. Speaking of which, a huge thank you to another female collaborator on this shoot, Azalea of Wild and Behold Flowers. They're a boutique floral design studio that creates stunning floral arrangements for weddings and events. In this case, since the dresses were quite colorful, we wanted to impart the feeling that the bride herself was the queen of all the flowers, so Krystin of K Bella Events guided Azalea and her team to create this stunning floral arch as a frame for our beauties. Greenery, and neutral cream blossoms add impact to this dreamy greenhouse at Lavendar Marketplace & Workshops. This historic home built in the 1890's was a dream venue for our hothouse "flowers" to make their debut, and my long-time friend and collaborator Jeremy Chou photographed it all to perfection. Jeremy is one of the top wedding photographers in the world, and he's shot my dresses many times, so it was a joy to join forces for this project. Dmitry from Love is Wedding was there to capture it all on video, so if you've been following my IG reels or joined me recently on TikTok, you'll see a glimpse into this dream world of Les Fleurs.
I was lucky enough to visit Japan this spring for the first-time during cherry blossom season. As I was planning this trip and simultaneously designing this collection, I knew it just wouldn't be complete without a Cherry Blossom gown. Thanks to K Bella Events, who planned and designed this gorgeous shoot while I was traveling, it all came together as I had envisioned. And when we arrived on set, this dogwood was in full bloom! Maybe not cherry blossoms, but an equally stunning explosion of spring, and a charming little cottage on the grounds of Lavender Marketplace for our Cherry Blossom dress. Delicate pink blossoms are scattered over this A-line silhouette. It has a deep V neckline in front and back, flowing tulle sleeves dripping in petals, and a dramatic flower-strewn train. Shown here in blush and ivory embroidery, this gown can also be made with all ivory flowers. Paired here with a beautiful floral hair comb by Twigs & Honey, and goddess-worthy bridal makeup by Chloe Ho who created such stunning hair and makeup looks for all of our beauties. I love this pop of blue on the eyes! Another bride favorite, the original design of this dress features blush flowers, so now we've added a new Ivory colorway to our popular April gown. This soft mermaid silhouette has a gorgeous low open back tied with a gossamer bow and pretty blossoms along the plunging neckline. And of course, if you're wearing a floral wedding dress, let's add a floral hairpiece! My bridal hair accessory collaboration with Erin Rhyne was inspired by some of my signature colors and embroideries. Erin's work is also infused with the beauty of the natural world, and she uses only the highest quality materials to create her pieces. Her hairpieces range from ethereal floral crowns to delicate hair vines and intricate headpieces, and each piece is carefully handcrafted to perfectly match the bride's vision and style. These exclusive pieces are available at our Los Angeles salon, and our online shop.
The word for flower or blossom in Japanese is Hana. This ivory and pale gold dress features my signature illusion back with intricate embroidery details. The sweetheart neckline plunges to show just the right amount of skin, capped sleeves balance the silhouette, and the shape is effortlessly beautiful - what I call a "soft mermaid", we find this shape is so stunning on our brides! A very intricate and detailed gown that somehow remains simple and understated, this one is sure to become a classic, and for those old-school fans, you may see recollections of Orange Blossom, a gown from the early days that I just had to reinvent here with Hana. Most of my brides are married in outdoor settings, and my vision this season is to transform them into the most unforgettable floral goddesses. It really was a dream to create these new dresses, and to collaborate with this amazing team. We'll be hosting our first Les Fleurs Trunk Show here at our Los Angeles flagship salon from June 17th - 25th, so be sure to book your appointments and join us as we celebrate all things floral, and of course you, our beautiful brides-to-be!
