Inspired by all things Magical the Moonlight Reverie Collection
Faeries have a hold on me, and they always have. These ethereal creatures are beautiful and a bit mischievous. Lovers of nature, they somehow exist both in this world and in another realm, and sometimes we are lucky to feel their presence. When I was a little girl, we lived in a rural valley in upstate New York. Our house sat on a hill, and behind it, the land was lush with wild raspberries, a small creek, and a mystical forest. My mom would send me out to pick berries for a pie, and of course I ate more than ended up in my basket! I would come home berry-stained and happy, and she would add some rhubarb which also grew wild, for a delicious homemade pie. I would sit by the creek, imagining that mermaids and fairies lived there, and I would spend hours making fairy dresses from flowers and leaves and building tiny hideaways for them amidst the mossy forest.

In my career as a wedding dress designer I've found a way to channel my love for fairies into creating ethereal wedding gowns. For this collection, I let my fairy fantasies run wild, and dreamt up some gorgeous dresses for my brides. The Meadowsweet gown is the epitome of a garden fairy. A touch of ivory and pale gold lace adorns the softly structured bodice of this graceful A-line wedding dress featuring colorful floral embroidery with rosy pink, sage green, and buttercup yellow and ivory wildflowers blooming on the sheer long sleeves and the flowing full skirt. Wildflowers bloom, and ribbons float on the wind – our Thistledown dress brings nature’s beauty to the bride. A plunging neckline, sheer waist and back are all edged with the most delicate Guipure lace trim, and effervescent shimmer ribbon streamers drape from the shoulders to create a whimsical and magical effect. The same embroidery pattern as Meadowsweet, both dresses are available in ivory with just a whisper of pale blue and green, or the colorful pink and sage version. A recurring refrain we hear from our brides to express the mood for their dream wedding often includes “forest fairy vibes”. Well, my fellow fae, this collection is for you…and Fujiblossom is one of my personal favorites. Dripping with wisteria blossoms and petals, this fit-to-flare strapless sheath is an unforgettable dream! Fujiblossom is made of Lilac and Sage embroidery on sheer nude tulle. Imagine a shimmering golden meadow in bloom under a full moon and you have Lunaria. This softly structured bodice has sheer insets and leads to a fit-to-flare silhouette embroidered with stunning 3-D flowers and draped pearls. Muted colors of mauve, sage, champagne and shimmering gold are intertwined in a graceful floral motif. And last, one of my favorite flowers, the Wisteria. These graceful flowers bloom along sage green vines in this exclusive embroidery. Draped along the shoulder and dripping down the intricately cascading skirt, the Wisteria gown is a one-of-a-kind work of art. The batteau neckline leads to a gentle fit-to-flare A-line skirt, and the sheer illusion back becomes a floral tattoo. What a gorgeous choice for a garden fairy!
