Seeing a dad overcome with emotion gets me every time! Our bride above looks stunning in her Victoriana vintage inspired lace wedding dress, and dad obviously agrees. There are lots of ways to incorporate dad, or anyone who has filled that role of advisor, caretaker, and cheerleader in your life, into your wedding, and I say, do whatever feels right for you and your family.

Walking you down the aisle is a special honor, and I just know this is one of a father's proudest moments. He probably can't believe how fast the time has gone, and I imagine thoughts of carrying you as a little girl are flashing through his mind. But here you are, all grown up, taking the next step in your own life, and it's a beautiful thing to have your loved ones there to celebrate with you. We have so few rituals in our modern world, but a wedding remains a powerful symbol of love and commitment. That significance is part of why I love designing wedding dresses so much - it's not just a dress, it takes on a greater meaning, and I am so grateful to play a part in these moments.
