I love getting photos back from brides and seeing how the various wedding details came together! I was especially thrilled when Monè, who wore our gorgeous Champagne gown, sent me photos from her February 2020 wedding. As much as I adore white roses and crystal chandeliers, the rebel in me can't help but smile when a couple does something that's truly unique that reflects their personal style. Michael and Monè went that route with non-traditional elements and it was executed perfectly thanks to Amethyst Event Productions.Monè chose the stunning chantilly lace Champagne Gown for her February 14th celebration. The gown features a deep v neckline and sheer lace midriff that beams with iridescent thread woven into floral applique; a feature that catches the light beautifully. The fitted lace silhouette highlights Monè's curves without overwhelming her petite frame, while the tulle overlay keeps the dress light, airy, and ethereal. The gown also features a dreamy chapel length cascading train adding to the romance of the look. Monè decided that a cape was more her style than a veil, so I designed a special two tiered tulle cape with the same iridescent floral applique that's featured on her gown. Tiny hooks on the shoulders of her gown allowed her to easily remove the accessory later in the evening (although I don't think she ever wanted to take it off!). The cape moved with the same lightness and ease as the gown... it's as if Monè was floating across the floor! What a dramatic (and romantic) first look. She also chose a delicate, sparkling Twigs & Honey hair piece to dance in her gorgeous up-do by Hair by Sarah C to complete her bridal style.
Alyssa Marie Evans Photography captured the love these two have in their hearts in such a beautiful way. The way he looks at her...the smile on Monè... the happiness of their families...and dad wiping away a tear...well that get's me every time! You can just feel the love.
I have to say, this is one of my favorite tablescapes I've ever seen! Various species of mushrooms paired with earth tone florals and sage foliage quite literally sprouted from the reception tables. Meanwhile, the rich mustard linens complimented the couple's deep love of nature they clearly wanted to celebrate on their big day. Fresh by Brandon brought this couple's special vision to life by bringing the outdoors in, and The Harper OC was the perfect setting to enhance the beauty even more.
Monè was always such a warm light every time she came to our Los Angeles Atelier. This gown suited her so well and it looks like she and Michael suit each other even more. Sending so much love to these two cuties and wishing them all the best on their future adventures together!
