Beverly and Cheyenne are two of our most unforgettable lace gowns. Many of the European mills that I work with are in their 4th, 5th, and in one case, 9th generation of family-owned businesses, with patterns dating back as far as the 1700’s. I feel the history behind these gorgeous fabrics makes lace such a special choice for a wedding dress, and I love interpreting this textile in a modern way for my brides. A sense of the past, and artisan craftsmanship passed down through the generations is rare in our disposable world, and it gives me hope that there are still people doing this work, and brides that appreciate it.
The Beverly long-sleeved gown exudes a bohemian, yet timeless vibe. Beautiful for a grand garden soiree, or equally at home in an intimate celebration among the wildflowers.
Cheyenne is made of a unique floral lace with a draped cameo motif along the scalloped edge. The sleeveless illusion neckline has a detailed button back closure (the buttons are covered in lace!) and a flowing dramatic train. This wedding gown is the perfect blend of vintage and modern, sexy and demure, and the special lace details evoke an unforgettable romance that could fit into virtually any theme or setting.
Lined in crepe, either of these Ivory lace gowns can be ordered with a Nude lining to bring out the detail of the vintage lace, or in all Ivory for a classic look.
