I think there's a misconception about backyard weddings when it comes to choosing your gown. Just because your event is more intimate than you originally planned, doesn't mean you can't wear that gorgeous couture dress you've been dreaming about. This is still YOUR (and your partner's) day regardless of the setting; you deserve to feel special and beautiful. The Marie gown is one of those special couture pieces. To all of the brides out there, I know how hard it has been to cancel, postpone, or re-think your wedding vision. I know how much you've planned and imagined all the details of this day, but know this: your wedding is about you and your partner. Yes, you imagined the full dance floor. Yes, you imagined hugging and chatting with your friends and family all night, but those things can wait. Remember why you're having this ceremony in the first place. When you look back on the photos that you and your honey will take of just the two of you, no-one will ever know what was happening in the world at the time. All they will see is two people... happy and in love...and when it's time for that big party, you can wear your beautiful dress again, and yes, there will be dancing!
