Cora for Lace & Co.

Some of our UK brides may find this wedding looks a bit familiar...it's our very own Heidi from Lace & Co. Heidi has helped countless brides find 'the one' over the years in her beautiful Wakefield bridal boutique, and we're so happy to celebrate her very own special day! Heidi planned an intimate wedding, and including the couple's two children to commemorate their new family of four was of utmost importance...along with wearing her dream wedding dress of course! Heidi chose our Cora gown. She had first seen it about 4 years before her wedding at one of our UK Trunk Shows, and had fallen in love. As Heidi has shared with so many brides when assisting them at her own shop, choosing your dress isn't about the latest trends, but about capturing your heart. In her case, it was this unique, intricate, just ever so slightly shimmering French lace. For Heidi, the Cora gown was the perfect blend of modern, bohemian and vintage. From the stunning sheer back, to the little capped sleeves and flowing scalloped hem skirt, this gown was perfect for her. We customized the waist detail, and our bride was ready for her day. Now that Heidi has planned her own wedding, I'm sure she'll be an even more compassionate advocate for our brides to be. She was already amazing, but there's nothing like going through it yourself to help you understand how sometimes overwhelming it can all be. Coming through the other side, (and during a pandemic no less) one thing surely holds true, which is, enjoy every minute, keep it all in perspective, and always choose the dress that makes you want to jump for joy! And, for all of you UK 2023/24 brides, we have exciting news, a Trunk Show is heading your way! Lace and Co is hosting a Claire Pettibone Trunk Show from Janaury 21 to 23 featuring the brand new Adorned collection. Give Ms. Heidi a ring or a DM to book your appointment - spots are filling up. Congratulations Heidi on your beautiful wedding, and thank you for always taking such great care of our brides - it's an honor to count you as one of them. Groom carries bride
