As Fall ends and Winter sneaks up on us, I wanted to pay one last ode to the season that produces so many gorgeous colors and textures, and is truly a transition period into a quieter time of the year. Sara Marx Photography beautifully captured some of my favorite designs against a warm autumn background and shows how nature is always the perfect setting for romance and beauty. Delicate ivory silk roses, dainty beaded vines, and silver threaded embroidery make up our stunning Enchanted Moon Cape. A favorite among our brides, this cape longs to be outdoors with the elements. Dramatic, ethereal, and light, it's the perfect balancing ingredient to a season strewn with darker tones and chilly nights. This cape longs to move and dance among newly fallen leaves... I am loving this moment! Our versatile Enchanted Cape can also be worn as a veil for those that want a more traditional bridal look. I love how angelic this bride looks while she oozes a sense of calm and presence in the here and now. This is also a moment to admire the details of our Odessa gown. Silver and ivory embroidered roses illuminate this gown while the delicate floral trim trails along the sweetheart bodice. The sheer midriff and back adds a surprise element of intrigue keeping this gown romantic and modern. Fern Croft Florals created a stunning and simple bouquet for our bride. Sometimes florals can overwhelm a dress, but this one with it's emerald green leaves, peachy roses, and charming dark berries is timeless and elegant. I'm also loving the soft and sweet blush stationary and feather-like calligraphy by Lenka Calligraphy done on handmade paper by Eliv Rosenkranz; it's giving me all the English garden vibes! Our Butterfly Veil paired with our Anais Gown is another gorgeous duo on this incredible tree-filled property! Anais is made with hand beaded organza flowers detailed with whimsical floral trim around the sweetheart neckline, waist, and hem. This gorgeous layer of fabric sits against inner layers of lace and silk charmeuse, leaving the gown comfortable and luxurious. The Butterfly Veil is embroidered with flowers, beads and pearls, finished with butterfly appliques adding to the utter romance and whimsy of this look.
As another season passes and a new one comes along, I'm reminded of how our personal lives have seasons as well. Honoring each season of our lives, even the ones that aren't so pretty and Instagram "worthy" is all a part of it. 2020 has been difficult beyond belief, but here we are, still standing tall like this beautiful bride and scarlet golden trees... ready for what comes next.
