Mid-Summer Dream Bride in Beverly

I'll say it again. I LOVE MY BRIDES! They are creative, unique and beautiful. They walk their own path. They are not afraid of expressing just who they are; and even though every single bride is different, I just adore them all. Well, keep scrolling through these stunning images by Wild Fern Photo of my dear bride Kimberly. Everything about this wedding is epic, and yes, their officiant is a wizard. Time for some couple's portraits, which I'll remind you again, are SO IMPORTANT! In addition to being a great opportunity for the two of you to let it all soak in, it gives your photographer (in this case, the very talented Wild Fern Photo) time to capture your wedding looks, (yes, I might be a little dress obsessed) and of course, your love for each other.

Kimberly is from Ireland, and she loved my collection, so her dress search began with a visit to Los Angeles, to see us here at The Castle. I always enjoy creating one-of-a-kind dresses for our brides, and I'm so glad we could make this custom gown happen for her. We incorporated the lace from Beverly with a flowing A-Line skirt, an extra long train, and some French embroidered sleeves with silk covered button cuffs. Since she lives so far away, we only had that one chance to meet with her, take measurements, create a sketch and decide on all the details. Kimberly trusted us to create her dream dress, and a few months later, Voila!" Gorgeous florals by The Wildflower, and this sweet couple are all we thought we needed, but then they add a wizard! Why aren't more people married by wizards? Seems like that should be a thing. Anyway, I don't think it would be an Irish wedding without a castle, so the fairy tale setting of the Markee Castle was perfection. I mean, could this wedding be any more amazing? And don't get me started on this cake...or the way our bride's tattoos show through her sheer embroidered tulle sleeves. As someone who obsesses over the details, I just love when couples really go for it. They have made choices that suit them to the core, and really let their personalities shine.

I wasn't in attendance, but I can feel the whole day...from the walk down the aisle, to celebrating with friends, to these stolen moments of our couple. I'm sure the day was a bit of a dream, especially for our bride, and it's almost overwhelming and impossible to absorb it all in the moment, but now she will have these epic photographs to look back on, and even to share with future generations. And those lucky viewers will have a true sense of just who this beautiful couple was at this magical wedding. May you live happily ever after, Kimberly and Barry.
