Pops of sapphire blue in the bride's shoes and the groom's suit, along with florals of deep reds, purples and coral create a vibrant, dramatic setting for this wedding.
Cerulean, azure, aquamarine, and turquoise to name a few shades, along with the radiant floral arrangements all came together to create a beautiful vivid landscape and showcase.
We love to see wedding guests get involved with the color theme by wearing accents of blue for the occasion.
Our bride, Jaclyn, chose our Beverly gown, featuring a feminine floral lace, high neckline, with a beautiful open back and long train.
The gown perfectly captured her beauty and style, and the dramatic long lace sleeves were a classic touch. The subtle, ivory tone of the lace really allowed the bride to stand out amongst all the rich colors.
The nuptials took place on the 5 acre estate of the famed illusionist, Harry Houdini. The vibe for the afternoon into evening wedding was intimate and lush, almost like stepping back in time…not surprising since the Hollywood Hills venue was built in the Edwardian tradition in the early 1900s. The master escape artist, Henry Houdini, lived here until his death, and the unique mansion, along with the lush gardens, were the perfect setting for our bride and groom.
This wedding took place this spring, so if you are wondering if jewel toned colors must be limited to a fall or winter wedding? The answer is...absolutely no!
Further proof that it’s perfectly ok to choose what is meaningful to you, what fits your style and vision, and just go with it!
