We keep calling this the year of "making things happen". Only four months into 2022, and we've had quite the handful of rush brides (including a record 4 day turnaround!). But when I really think about it, it's always the year of making things happen. I think of beautiful bride Echo who came to us three months before her wedding in the thick of the 2020 madness, and somehow by bridal magic and our talented team of fairies here at
The Castle, we were able to create Echo's dream gown!
Echo wore the re-embroidered lace beauty
Leila for her gorgeous wedding day. This gown is from the
Evolution collection, and made of Chantilly lace with finely hand-beaded floral appliques. With a sheer back adorned with flowers and scrolling vines, this gown is meant for an outdoor setting. Echo paired the gown with our Ambrosia veil, embroidered with gold beads and soft ivory blooms. She was a classic vision in French lace and fine details!
Aren't these two the sweetest?!
John Schnack Photography so beautifully captured the joy and love as they shared these private first-look moments before the ceremony. Being with your beloved is truly the greatest feeling, and how dreamy does Echo's veil look? It was a last-minute choice to go with a veil, and seeing her here, glowing in the sunlight with that veil draping effortlessly in the breeze, there's no doubt she made the right call! I always encourage my brides to wear a veil, not only for the ceremony, but for moments like these!
Echo and Ryan's wedding was at their family home on the coast of California, and couldn't have been dreamier. With their lush backyard, they had the perfect space for their intimate ceremony. I love the touch of vibrant florals
Organic Elements added to contrast against all of the greenery; a jewel toned moment is always a good idea! And how sweet is Ryan's son walking Echo down the aisle? Echo recalls this as being one of the most meaningful moments of the day as their family begins this new journey together.
As Echo shares in our latest issue of our fine art magazine,
for the Love of, their day was "gushing with love" and isn't that how it should be? Even with a short timeline to plan the wedding, these two were still able to make their day beautiful, personal, and overflowing with love, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters. Congratulations you two, wishing you oceans of happiness!
