A chance to breathe...to linger...it seems hard to come by these days, but sometimes little reminders show up to encourage a pause, and I sure am grateful for them! At the beautiful Klentner Ranch in Santa Barbara, envisioned by Megan Rose Events, and photographed by Michael & Anna Costa, this team of creatives is giving us all a much needed excuse to enjoy this dreamy day full of natural light, muted tones, and peaceful moments.
Before the ceremony, you'll start getting ready, maybe have a first look with your partner, and your photographer will be capturing all the pretty details you spent so much time planning. As the day progresses and vendors and guests begin to arrive, there's an energy shift and all of a sudden it's go time! I always tell brides to really savor those moments of calm and peace on their wedding day, before all the "major" moments happen. It's the part of the day where you have a chance to let your emotions sink in and acknowledge that the day you've been waiting for for months or even years, is HERE.
This gorgeous bride stuns in our Moonlight Rose gown and Enchanted Moon Bridal Cape. The gown, made of fine French embroidery and layers upon layers of Italian tulle and scattered sequins shimmering beneath, is a match made in heaven with the natural light peering through those effervescent layers. The gown is slightly transparent for an ethereal, fairy feel, but we can easily line the gown in silk for brides who want a more modest option. The Enchanted Moon Bridal Cape makes the perfect finishing touch, effortlessly completing the look. The cape is adorned with ivory silk organza roses, floral appliques and edged with delicate vine beading. What more could you want for an unforgettable walk down the aisle? The florals by Ella & Louie were both fresh and classic. You can never go wrong with white roses, and the live plants from Idyll Mercantile really gave a modern feel to the ceremony. And look at that cape in the breeze...I do love a dramatic train moment! And then it's on to the reception styled in classic black and ivory with a touch of soft blush. Outdoor elegance personified!
All those little moments add up to one of the most memorable days of your life. And when you have a team of experts to bring it all together and capture it, like Michael & Anna Costa did, it makes your day even more special to look back on. You may not remember the moment when you were holding hands at the table or giggling about how crazy the day has been, but the camera will. Brides, I can't urge this enough - take the time to find a Rockstar photographer. It's worth every penny for photos like these! I'm definitely ready to run off into springtime meadows like these two cuties! I'm ready for more sun, more brides, more flowers, and of course, more love. Cheers to a fresh new season, and cheers to love!
