A Micro-Fairytale Wedding

A Micro-Fairytale Wedding

We've had many brides postpone their weddings due to the Coronavirus, but over the past few months, things are shifting, and now we're seeing more and more brides deciding to have micro-weddings or even an elopement now, with plans for a larger celebration at a later date. Why not get married as planned, and have two occasions to wear your gorgeous gown?! These were some of the first photos I received back from a Covid bride, and honestly... can you even tell they were taken during a pandemic? All I see is a dreamy bohemian celebration with two people happily in love.

The morning of the wedding...just the bride and her close family and friends prepping for this most important day. Eden wore the strapless floral lace Eloise gown lined in dreamy blue silk. She's a vision in blue! We also made custom, vintage style tiered tulle sleeves to complete the romantic look. Inspired by the Marie gown, this custom touch was a gorgeous way to make the gown one-of-a-kind for Eden.Bride and Groom Kissing by lakesideCan you believe this utterly romantic setting? The sky-reflected lake, our bride's wind swept auburn hair, and the way they're leaning into each other...these two are straight out of a romance novel! No extra lighting or decor needed...just nature, a gorgeous gown and a couple in love.Bride in Wedding Dress with Veil Gisselle Wedding Shoes by Claire PettiboneBride Dress putting on shoes
Eden was fully accessorized in CP as well. She wore the elegant Giselle lace heels from my capsule collection for Bella Belle, and our dreamy Vintage Vine embroidered veil in our waterfall style. I can't take credit for the stunning flower crown or bouquet, that was all Spruce Ridge Garden Center, but it all came together so beautifully!Happy Bride with wedding bouquetBride with wedding maids of honor Colorful DressesThe bridesmaids color choices were perfection and goes to show how you can mix up colors and styles and still have a vogue-worthy bridal party. I love that this bride incorporated blue, even though she wore a blue gown, and the blush and ivory tones seamlessly tie everything together.Bride and Groom running This is what I hope you experience on your wedding day... joy, laughter, love, and FUN. Eden and Dan embraced their gorgeous location and definitely had their storybook moment running through sunshine-filled fields. You can't help but smile looking at this sweet couple!
Happy Couple Bride and Groom Embraced
I love that Eden and Dan decided to move forward with their wedding even though it probably looked different than their original plan. These two clearly still had the most special day and exuded love through every moment. Life is full of twists and turns and if this couple can teach us anything, it's that we must embrace the present moment and most of all, we must embrace each other... Cheers to the stunning newlyweds!
