There's something about autumn that makes my heart skip a beat. Perhaps it's the way golden light seems to drip like honey through nearly-bare branches, or how each leaf becomes nature's own couture creation painted in impossible shades of amber, russet, and burnt sienna. Isn't this the most romantic season for a bride to say "I do"? When the air turns crisp with possibilities, and every sunset feels like it was painted by an artist's brush just for lovers - I'm saying yes to all of it!
As November days fill my studio with their enchanting light, I watch how nature transforms everything it touches - antique gold embroidery warming to burnished copper, ivory lace taking on the softest champagne blush, and amulets of gold from our new collection of engagement rings in collaboration with The North Way Studio are ready for some holiday engagements! We can't wait to see who will be the lucky recipient of the Robin ring!
The Antique Leaf & Blossom Hair Vine (shown here with our Venus gown) and the Victorian Climbing Comb are two of our bride's favorites. When woven through loose waves, these pieces create an ethereal crown worthy of autumn's sophisticated beauty. l love how these pieces will transform throughout the day from subtle morning shimmer to dramatic evening sparkle.

FALL WEDDINGS
Autumn bouquets are a captivating way to celebrate the spirit of the harvest. Picture merlot-hued dahlias accompanied by vibrant red blooms that echo the last passionate notes of summer. When these rich jewel tones are softened with touches of amber berries and eucalyptus leaves tinged with burgundy, the effect is pure magic. I'm obsessed with our bride's bouquet!A PALETTE OF BEAUTY IN ODESSA
What makes autumn florals so special is their ability to both contrast and complement. Against the delicate ivory of our lovely bride wearing the Odessa gown, these deep rich blooms create the most striking effect, like the way November sunshine illuminates the last fierce colors in a frost-touched garden. Whether you choose deep wine-colored blooms that mirror the season's turning leaves, bright pops of red that catch the golden light, or sprays of orange berries that add that perfect touch of warmth, autumn offers an endless palette of possibilities. Paired with our Enchanted Moon cape, the opulent petals and touches of silver embroidery trailing in her footsteps create such a dramatic effect against the warmth of this fall setting. WARM FALL TONES WITH THE PEARLE GOWN
There are moments in late fall when time seems to slow, when vintage romance becomes a true possibility. The Pearle gown emerged from these quiet hours with her subtle rose gold threads weaving through lavishly embroidered tulle like sunshine through morning mist. These long sleeves and modest neckline belong to crisp afternoons and early twilight. Worn here by another gorgeous bride, we created a custom cape to compliment her dress. This wedding played on the warm hues of the venue, and went full-fall with the floral archway and decor while keeping our bride's bouquet light with warm blush roses, a touch of goldenrod, and wildflowers. The bridal party wore a palette of fall tones including a favorite of mine, regardless of the season - velvet! Our Peony engagement ring blooms in any season, and would be stunning for a nature-loving bride-to-be.JEWELED FLORAL HAIR ACCESSORIES
To embrace the beauty of fall further, and enhance your bridal look for any season, a hair accessory is a must. Here are just a few styles available on our sister site, for the LOVE of. The English Garden Combs and our Apple Blossom Enamel Comb were plucked from nature's own jewel box with hand-enameled brass blossoms dusted with golden light. Whether nestled into an elegant updo or waves swept to one side, these adornments add that perfect touch of vintage romance that autumn weddings call for.The Antique Leaf & Blossom Hair Vine (shown here with our Venus gown) and the Victorian Climbing Comb are two of our bride's favorites. A TOUCH OF DRAMA WITH THE KRISTENE BRIDAL VEIL
Our beloved Kristene Veil adds a dramatic touch of romance. Available in both ivory and antique, it pairs beautifully with many gowns - shown here with Victoriana, it is perfection. The blusher can be worn over the face for the walk down the aisle, or pulled back to cascade in our "waterfall" style. Especially beautiful in outdoor ceremonies, a veil will catch the breeze and create the most romantic effect. The way it frames a bride's face reminds me of how November light seems to soften everything it touches.CELEBRATING FALL WITH SHIMMERING SOLEIL
For my autumn brides, the season offers a stunning palette of beauty. I love seeing how they embrace fall's opulence with shades of rich burgundy, berry, olive and copper. There's something about autumn that enhances every bride's natural glow - perhaps it's the gentle light, or maybe it's just the magic of the season itself. The Soleil gown was the perfect choice for our bride. Gold embroidered tule scattered with fairy dust captures those fleeting moments when autumn sunshine gilds everything it touches. Flutter sleeves drift in the air like the last dance of autumn leaves.CAPTURING THE LIGHT WITH LUNARIA
As evening approaches earlier each day, the Lunaria gown becomes autumn twilight incarnate. Her palette of mauve, teal, champagne and gold shimmers like that magical moment when day surrenders to dusk. Blooming flowers and draped pearls catch the light like the first stars appearing in darkening skies - truly magical. And no, a wedding dress doesn't have to be white. As I have always believed, your wedding dress should truly reflect who you are. For many of our brides, that means a touch of color, or maybe even a bit of black, and we are here for it! Whatever you choose, you will be your own unique version of a bride and you will be beautiful.FOR THE LOVE OF WEDDINGS
