9-10: excellent condition, no sign of wear
7-8: very good condition, dry cleaning or minor repairs needed
5-6: good condition, some repairs or cleaning needed
3-4: fair condition, cleaning and repairs needed

Our standard length is 59" from the pit of the throat to the floor. To determine your "hollow to hem", have a tailor measure from the hollow of your throat to the floor while wearing shoes with the exact heel height. As long as your measurement is less than the length listed, you will be able to have the gown altered to your height. Alterations should be performed by an experienced tailor.
