Musings: Discontinued Gowns & Sample Sale

What is it about the end of the year, that inspires us to clean, edit, reflect? I find myself wanting to start the New Year with everything in its place, and so in addition to shopping for loved ones this month, I’m doing a major cleansing at home, and taking a moment to appreciate and enjoy all the lovely gifts I am so fortunate to have in my own life…and maybe make a little room for just one or two more!

We’re doing the same thing here at our office, and as I have just designed 20 new gowns for 2011, it’s time to discontinue some of our old favorites to make room for the new. I’ll be sharing some photos and memories over the next few weeks as we say goodbye.

For any brides-to-be that have been dreaming of one of our discontinued gowns, we will take orders on a first come first served basis, and once we run out of fabric, we won’t be able to produce any more!

    Hi I am an older bride (55) but want to have a dream wedding – do you think your closisonne or forever are age appropriate for me? I am a petite size 6?

      Hi Roseann, Both of these gowns show off your back and shoulders, so if these are areas you love, then by all means! Keep in mind, you would not be able to wear a bra with these styles (a soft cup could be sewn in), but since you are a size 6, I’m guessing you are on the petite side. Most of the collection is age appropriate, it’s really just a matter of finding the gown that best suits your personality and style…happy dreaming!

    Good morning!

    I fell in love with the “Princess” style gown. I think it would really be perfect for my morning wedding in May 2011. Is this dress still available in ivory? All of these designs are beautiful, but this one really seems to say it all for me.

    Hi, I am getting married in late july 2011 in Canada. I have my heart set on the Princess dress and was actually about to book a ticket to come to the salon and try the Princess dress.
    Is it still available???
    I am desperate. It’s the only dress I like.

    I love the dresses, they are romantic and beautiful. I would like to purchas the Geisha gown during the next sample sale. How can I be alerted to when the sale starts?

    I am in absolutely in love with the Demetra Dress!! I am having a Beach Weding in Bermuda On Aug. 16, 2011.
    What type of material is this dress? I am about a size 10 dress. I have been looking for Sample sales with your dresses in the NY area. Please let me know how much this might cost. I am in Love with it!!! I’m just not sure if this is appropriate material for a beach wedding. I don’t want anything too heavy. Any details you can provide would help.
