We have so many inquiries about our sample sale dresses, and here is your chance to see many more styles than we could ever feature on-line. Every season we have a selection of gowns that don’t make it into production…you could have a one-of-a-kind dress at an amazing price! Sorry, no current gowns are on sale, but there are MANY fabulous choices from previous seasons to choose from.
This is a perfect solution for last-minute brides. As many of you are finding out, our gowns are all made to order, so we need at least 3 months to make your gown…with the sample sale, there’s no waiting, just come on in, and let’s find “the one”!
Call now to book your appointment 310-360-6268. Even if you are from out of town, it might be worth it when you consider you could save as much as 75% off your gown (even 50% easily pays for a flight and hotel!)
Sizes are generally either 10’s or 4’s. Keep in mind that most of the 4’s are runway length which fits a 5’10” girl in heels…the good news is, once the gown is altered for your height, a size 4 can actually fit up to a size 6. The size 10’s are generally standard hollow to hem length of 59” which fits 5’8” in heels, and again, if you are shorter, a 10 could potentially fit up to a size 12.

We do list a few sample gowns for sale online…look on the bridal site under “Boutique” and then you’ll see “sample sale”. Unfortunately, we can’t list all the gowns online, but if there is something you have in mind, you can contact our salon manager cynthia@clairepettibone.com and she would be happy to offer some suggestions. I hope you do find your dream dress!

For Europeans, however, its’ almost impossible to get one, there’s only one or two shops in the UK, and flying there and then maybe not seeing the most interesting dresses…
Couldn’ you open a flagshipstore in Vienna or so?

We are fairly new to the bridal market, so our first focus was to build our presence in the US. Next, came the UK where we now have several stockists. Blackburn Bridal Couture is actually our UK representative, and carries a large selection. I am sure other countries in Europe will follow in the future. We have MANY requests from brides all over the world, and we would love to help them all. The sample sale is amazing! I just purchased a gorgeous silk, head to toe beaded gown for under $1K. I’m so excited to be able to wear one of Claire’s dresses thanks to the sample sale. I am soon to be engaged and I am set on your juliet dress but I am afraid it is out of my budget. I was wondering if it will be in the sample sale. Also if I were to be looking at other dresses I am a size 2 and about 5′1″ would it be hard to adjust the sizes? Thank you so much for your help.
